Hi fellow students , I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us studying ,like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can assist me with algebra ? I have never tried one thus far , but they shouldn't be hard to use I assume. If anyone has such a program, I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Remedial Algebra now, so I've been studying things like how to solve -4(5+n)+n+6 and it's not easy at all.

I agree, resources on the internet are no better than the college books. Algebrator is a good method to start your math career.

I remember having often faced difficulties with algebraic signs, ratios and function composition. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and College Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
