I've always wanted to excel in can the ti-83 plus calculator solve for x and y, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some good learning tools , and checked the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be directed to people who already know the subject. Is there any tool that can help new people as well?

You haven’t provided any details about the problem that is troubling you. I would like to help you with can the ti-83 plus calculator solve for x and y as it was my favorite topic in math. I also recommend using a really brilliant product called Algebrator. This is the best that I have encountered to help math students. But make sure you use it to learn the subject and not just to copy and submit your homework.

I have tried out several software. I would confidently say that Algebrator has assisted me to grapple with my difficulties on graphing equations, complex fractions and logarithms. All I did was to merely key in the problem. The answer appeared almost at once showing all the steps to the solution . It was quite easy to follow. I have relied on this for my algebra classes to figure out Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would highly recommend you to try out Algebrator.
