mathematics of radicals

Hello all, I just began my mathematics of radicals class. Boy! This thing is really difficult ! I just never seem to understand the point behind any topic . The result? My grades go down . Is there any guru who can lend me a helping hand?

Thanks for the tip . Algebrator is quite a great algebra software. I was able to get answers to difficulties I had about function definition, greatest common factor and adding matrices. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for so many , like Basic Math, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I am really happy with Algebrator.
