solving linear equations with fractions

Hi All, I am in need of help on perfect square trinomial, perpendicular lines, quadratic inequalities and midpoint of a line. Since I am a newbie to College Algebra, I really want to learn the basics of College Algebra fully . Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can start reading the basics? I have the final next week.

I could help if you can be more specific and provide details about solving linear equations with fractions. A right computer program would be ideal rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any algebra problem that you may want solved. It also clarifies all the steps (of the solution). You can just reproduce as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers.

Thanks for the advice . Algebrator is actually a life-saving math software. I was able to get answers to queries I had about x-intercept, x-intercept and matrices. You just have to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the answers you need. You can use it for so many , like Remedial Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 2. I think everyone should use Algebrator.
